how to be (a bit) coquettish: part deux

Part I: How to Be (a Bit) Coquettish.

“Charm is something else we have forgotten, because we wrongly confuse it with seduction.”

- Julia Baird

Charm is a smile. A warm, genuine smile. Charm is etiquette – not necessarily chivalry; thoughtfulness (read: consideration) extends all ways, gender irrelevant – and kindness. Charm is touch – they always know your hand is there to hold – and reassurance.

Most importantly, charm is and comes from the heart: charm is empathy, being able to to connect and feel. There’s no persuasion, no seduction, no ulterior motive except true connection between two individuals. To like someone begins by sharing something.

So to spark the process, friendship and otherwise, it begins with charm.
